The branch color for officials [Beamte] was dark green. Pink was used as a secondary color [Nebenfarbe] for officials of the following specialties:

    • Photographic service [Bilddienst]
    • Motor transport service [Kraftfahrdienst]
    • Ordnance service [Waffendienst]
    • Ordnance- and ammunition service [Waffen- und Munitionsdienst]
    • Technical aircraft service [Flugzeugtechnischer Dienst]
    • Cartographic service [kartographischer Dienst]
    • Lithographic service [Lithographischer Dienst]
    • Other craftsmen's service [Sonstiger handwerklicher Dienst]*

*) "Other"/"sonstiger" meaning outside the craftsmen's service for clothing depots [handwerklicher Dienst bei den Bekleidungsämtern] which had bright red branch color.

For a short while at the beginning 1935ish till about 1940 the Corps of Engineers of the Luftwaffe (Ingenieurkorps des Luftwaffe) used a "pink" waffenfarbe.
