Have you ever seen a skull ring like that one?

I bought it some years ago in overlord1944.com, the seller said that he bought this ring togheder with another items of WWII, but he didn't know what kind of ring it's. It's silver, inside appears 835.
That's all the information I have.

I dont think anyone here can verify this 100 %, personally I dont like it just because its so strange but its just a question of taste of course..

Just a thought this could be a mourning ring. the skull has been used on rings long before the SS came along.

looks like another recent made , buffed on the top to look worn from age but not on the bottom

its old silver as they dont juse the marks 830 or 835 like yours anymore

these two marks go back to the early 50`s

Actually I think I have seen one like that on a russian site, when I was looking for relics, on the site there was alot of dug up rings and I will say whit 85% chance there was one like that, but that dosen't make it a SS or Army ring.

the shape of the skull, expecially the "smile" and the crossbones, remember the simbol of the Brigate Nere, an Italian unit that operated during the Republica Sociale Italiana during 1943-1945...

The ring can be a private purchase..
