Heer Artillerie Major's geschmückte feldjacke (assistance with a name tag if possible).
I recently obtained this early ornamented Artillery officer 4 pocket field jacket, and was wondering if there was any way
that the owner could be possibly ID'd with the aid of the name tag on the inside of the jacket, his name is Siebert or
Siebart ??? and his number was 1650. The date on the tag is 1941. Rank of the jacket is for a Major.
(the ribbon bar is not original to the tunic, but put there just to fill the 4 loops that are on the jacket, there are also
loops for one breast award).
Thanks for looking,

Here is the name tag, the tailor was a company by the name of Berke Chucher Schröder in Berlin
The Major's name looks like Siebert/Siebart/Siebarth ???
The cap is a double Erel visor, I will post a few more photos of the cap in the appropriate section, but it was not associated
with the tunic, I just added it for the photos.....
While I can't help you with the IDing, I can say that the tunic and visor are awesome pieces, in very good condition, q great item to have!
The number will be of no help here:
by Bob Lyons
It has no connection to the owner's ID tag- or service number, but is simply the tailor's number for this job (it would also have appeared in his order book and on the invoice for the tunic).
Anyway, a beautiful piece!
Thanks guys, it looks like the name is Siebarth.
