Heer Eagle, Original? Approximate Value?

I am being offered this eagle from a dealer. What kind of ealge is it, for tunic or hat? Is it original and how much is it worth? Thanks!

i dont know how to tell if these are original or not but i believe its a late-war wehrmacht breast eagle. these were common on m44 jackets.

The dealer has a guarentee it's original or I can return it full refund.

Hi, It looks to be an m43 Heer tunic eagle, and is original, IMO. Value would be $40-60US, IMO.

its original but why are you thinking of buying it when you dont know if its a cap eagle or brest eagle original or fake maybe a reference book will be a better buy

I agree, get some books, join some other forums, look at lots of dealer websites, go to shops and shows to get a hands on look at stuff. But if the price is right, I'd buy the eagle as well!

Here are some original eagles to compare against for future reference.

I don't collect this kind of thing atall or need much background info on it i was just curious to it's originality etc. because im not getting into this field of collecting. It's a cheap buy and the guy guarentee's its original so im going to take it.
