first it looks to modern to me, second i do not like the paper rests on the back as used on modern copy stuff so i guess it is a repro and not the best

It is a fake, but Grossdeutschland is an army unit not SS.

Hi Mike, as mentioned it is fake. Kiinger is correct: paper backing to the embroidery is a modern trait. The ONLY cuff titles to have the salt and pepper back were Bevo machine woven titles.

Moved your thread to here and re-titled it too. "GD" was an Army unit, not SS.

yes i seen yours before,
what i have are hollow backed, brass, very good detail but no frosting, i am happy with them being original but as you know its always nice to be re assured
