Heer Hat Badge - Fake?

Hello all,

I came accross this hat badge. In my opinion it was made very recently and this is based on the shade of the green used here, back of the item (seems like a machine embroidared piece), the material which seems similar to silk and the front details (seems to be machine made again). What are your thoughts?

I am not able to help you with this item but, I wouldn't throw it out until you get some solid opinions.

You are correct to throw it out. The weave is totally incorrect.
