    Default Heer Infantry Waffenrocks

i recently purchased these two heer infantry Waffenrocks, one being a M36 Heer infantry tunic & the other a infantry signals tunic. the signals tunic being unmarked i think is a privately taylored tunic, all buttons are marked EXTRA FEIN & RZM Marked, both tunics show wear though the M36 tunic is in much better condition, alot of the seams on the signals tunic are broken around the collar, pockets & cuffs & has sweat stains around collar & throughout,i am still studying Waffenrocks in general & the M36 tunic as i was told the breast eagle on the M36 waffenrock is of an italian origin maybe an italian division in the heer/wehrmacht,i realise the Heer sonderfuhrer cap does not match the tunic though i thought it looked cool so i put it on the display, cheers, any info or comments on these much appretiated.thanks fellas, bummer,.as i uploaded the photos they got re-aranged but im sure you will be able to tell which from which,.ok thanks fellas

Nice tunics. The M36 stamp is not the model but the initial of the town where the factory was located and the year of production. It could be F36, B36 etc
In this case if I'm not mistaken is München 1936.

These are both Waffenrocks. When we say M36, M40 etc we are referring to feldblusen and these terms are collector's terms and were not officially used back then.
I like the army issued one with the stamp of the unit
