Re: Heer Litzen identification
Cheers Good Pwny for the reply.
The pink (carmine) WaffenFarbe is the interesting one to me.It looks Arty red in this image but it's carmine pink.
German OKW Staff wore this WaffenFarbe which is what I feel it is,but my question is would the same litzen be worn by Veterinary Officers also as their Waffenfarbe was the same colour or is there a visable difference?.
Cheers mate

Re: Heer Litzen identification
Hard to comment on the colours of these, when you said yourself that the pics are not true colour. The lists for these tell us what the colours were used for, but with fading over time and the lighting conditions in your pics, it's probably easiest for you to see what the colours are and what branch used them.
The first one looks pink on my screen and the second one looks orange. If the colours listed are for more than one branch of service, they would use the same colour and it might not be possible to say which is which.

Jerry
Whatever
its just an opinion.

Re: Heer Litzen identification
The pink ones would be Veterinary as the General Staff would have 13 serrated teeth on both sides of the litzen.
