Heer Panzer collar totenkopf insignia

This is a new Panzer collar totenkopf that just arrived today. As I've stated before in other threads I generally don't buy skulls because I have difficulty discerning the good ones from the bad. However I do make exceptions with these panzer type. The prongs on the rear look different from another one I own. Take a look and let me know what you guys think.

Here it is on the left next to another panzer skull in my collection. Notice the difference in details front and back

Hello Al. I think they are both fine period examples imo. Here's a thread discussing the first example you purchased with the longer flat prong for comparison. Best regards.

I picked up another mismatched pair of panzer skulls to accompany the other two in my collection. They both have different attachment devices which are partly missing on one and completely missing on the other. They appear correct to me but I always appreciate other opinions

I dedicated a small case for them and photographed it under bright light to show the subtle differences in detail among the four skulls

I added another matching pair of panzer skulls to the collection. This set is in pristine condition with a three prong attachment system intact.
