No; there is no such thing.

The Caduceus device is for the Truppensonderdienst (TSD) [Special Troops Service], more specifically for the Laufbahn des Verwaltungsdienstes im TSD [Administrative Service Career of the TSD]. Branch color for TSD/Admin was a medium blue, but the color of the underlay on the board seen here appears too dark for it to be that and looks more like the cornflower blue used by the medical branch.

However, colors can be very deceiving when viewed via digital photography on a computer monitor, so it may well simply be a TSD/Admin shoulder board for the rank of Zahlmeister. Otherwise, if the color really is cornflower blue, its a case of a TSD/Admin device that someone has added to a medical shoulder board for the rank of Assistenzarzt, which should bear an Aesculapius Rod device rather than a Caduceus.

Many thanks for the information and detailed help with this. At least it sounds likely to be TR period. It may be the photography that it is making the colour appear darker than it is. I will have to try to photograph it again in better light.
