Heer tunic adler??

Hello all,i'll cut straight to the chase,is this a genuine Adler? I really have no idea on these things,it is made in black(panzer?)and silver thread and came in a box of bits and pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Leon.

Sadly it is a fake, construction/weave is all wrong, try searching for originals there are plenty that have been shown.

The front looks fairly convincing, but the reverse is all wrong, it has saw tooth weave above the fold line and the details of the design can be seen on the reverse, whilst 2nd pattern and later woven adlers like this should have a mass of threads on the reverse in which the details of the eagle should not be visible.

Compare the reverse with the original tropical adler I have shown.
