    Yes, unfortunately Heinz passed away recently and he had asked that these be left to me.

    I'm sorry to hear that about your friend.
    It was a kind gesture from him to give you his memorabilia stuff. I remember you saying that your kids aren't interested in militaria. Are you going to donate these to the local museum too?

    Very nice and certainly items to hang onto , what units did Heinz fly with ?
