helmet cover
Look at this helmet cover being sold on Fleabay at this moment, going over 1300 euros and stil going.
Who would pay this kind of money without seeing the item in hand, not alone bidding on it with these pictures!
It just doesn't look right to me, to me it seems somebody has aged a repro helmet cover.

I dont agree, i think its a fake, the damage seen is strange, it appears that there is no discolouration in the damaged threads which could mean that the damage is recent, therefore if recent why would anyone damage an original piece, the actual cloth appears too clean for a wartime period piece and the damage looks intentional and not insect or natural wear and tear

It's Heer Splinter not an SS cam pattern.
Over a grand for that real or not,OMG.
