    both are infanterie , first is a oberleutnant and the second a leutnant.
    The numbers refeer to the division they belong to.
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!

    Thank you Stuka F. I was told the gray piping meant a infantry reseve unit as well. I am confused as to how I would search for information on these units. Would it be 10th Inf. Reserve Div.? 10th Inf. Reserve Battalion... etc.?

    Hello,
    The number identifies more likely a Regimenter here.
    in the first case it should be Reserve Infanterie Regimenter 56
    The grey board denotes a Reserve unit
