Help identifying soldiers uniform, rank, insignia, etc.

Article about: Hello again, All! I'm trying to figure out what type of breast eagle this soldier has. I'm leaning towards this one (which I just purchased from the Collector's Guild): What do you guys thin

    Thanks! And no offense meant woodsnake, I just sometimes have a hard time understanding the British and Australian language I see on the forum.

    Thanks for the help, everyone!

    Would I be correct in assuming that the tabs on his collar would be a brownish/grayish/greenish?

    Could anyone recommend a good source for obtaining a matching breast eagle, collar tabs, shoulder boards, rank insignia, etc. that this soldier has for my collection?

    The Heer collar tabs are called "Litzen".

    Here is what they look like in colour. I think those in the pic are the early style like these?

    Do you know a good source for purchasing the insignia this soldier has? Litzen, breast eagle, rank chevron, etc, etc.

    Most dealers carry these kind of items. They should be fairly easy to obtain.
