    It is an original Kreigsmarine cap eagle made by Richard Sieper & Sohn in 1940.

    Yes, as Ade posted, an original for sure, probably for a visor, as those for the OR's cap usually have the cockade integral to them. Later examples for visors use the type with pins similar to a Heer cap eagle.
