Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
And lastly a couple of close ups:
The backing material looks and feels like cotton and the silvery blue thread is rayon.
I have been trying to make a decision to the backing colour. I have tried looking at it in daylight and under art lights and have decided it is a very dark blue.
Any comments and opinions would be greatly appreciated

Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
Looks very well made, maybe not in Germany, though the embroidery looks right.

Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
Thanks Ade and Jerry,
I like it as well.
I have a nice letter with it detailing where it came from, I just need more details about the name of the PoW camp.
All the best

Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
Hi
Are the badges ok.
I to was interested on these items, I got them to send me that picture as well, but also in there reply they told me how much they had been offered. So i backed off because I wasn’t prepared to chance that much money based on that picture.
I must admit they sounded ok to me to.
I hope you have been lucky and if so well done.
All the best.

Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
Hey guys, i was also interested in this lot, i was going to offer them a price but they already took your offer before i had a chance, they told me what they sold it for, which bearing in mind your good news that the cuff title is good, was a steal at that price
Thanks, Glen.

Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
Hello Rod,
all the badges are good ones..I had no doubt when I made my offer
The Denazified IAB is a Zimmermann I think as the makers name has gone with the denazification, The GAB is the rare hinge variant from Wiedemann, The Gold wound is a S&L (it could be silver but I can still live with it) The Minesweeper is an unmarked Scholz. The KVK is ring stamped but denazified
I am pleased to add these to my collection
I just need a few antipartisans to come my way to make me a really happy bunny this easter.
All the best

Re: Hermann Goring Cuff Title Opinions please
A great catch well done Doug!
There was far to many people interested on them for my likening, she said she had about thirty emails about them. Anyway I have two cars to insure and one to tax this month. A bad month for me.
Nice to see they have went to a good home. I to get a wee buzz when I get something I really like then the search goes on for the next.
Well done and happy collecting.
Rod
