Default info need : Heer Feldmütze Side Cap

Guys i need help with this cap, everything about it seems right, the price is good, and before i buy i thought i would let you all see it, and what would be a good price for it.

I usually deal with SS, SA items, but if the price is right, they make good trade type items..

    thanks
    Brian

Hi Brian, not Heer but Luftwaffe. A good original cap.

Values on this would be around the £200 mark.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thats what i thought, but thats what the guy called it, i figured it was Luftwaffe, from the curved up swept wings.

And what would 200 marks be in US dollars.

£200 UK Sterling would equate to about $300 US Dollars.

When I said around "the £200 mark" I meant "in the region of". British slang

    Cheers, Ade.

Ade is spot on. I just bought almost the identical cap at the SOS show in Kentucky for 300 dollars.

blackheart0866, it would appear that you dont know the difference between a Luftwaffe and an army eagle (the bread & butter of collecting Third Reich militaria), but as you state that you 'collect mainly SS/SA', then its no wonder you flood the site with copius amounts of originality questions !.....time to sit down with a few good books and learn the 'trade', there will come a time when you will have to sort out the wheat from the chaff, yourself, like we used to do before the 'net'.

Yes, very nice Jacket. Not seen very often. Outstanding style. Notice the flap to hide the buttons. The cap would go just fine.
