I think it started life as a m36 tunic but tailored in his time as a POW

An M36 heavily modified with replacement of collar and pockets, shortened, and buttons replaced. Nicely marked though! Munchen 1937!

Unusual.
Hard to read the letter but it seems to open with a birthday greeting to a loved one. Indeed, a unique and interesting find. NH
