Hi Guys, I thought that you might like to see this tab?

It is the rare second pattern tab introduced in 1942 for members of the KM clergy with more than 2 years service as Marine padre.

Sadly not mine, but a good friend brought it over to show me at the weekend and he was happy for me to share it here.

Very nice and Ditto to the above Gents take on it. I had a chance at onetime to get a matching pair of Navy Bishops tabs-but that was over 10 yrs ago and the guy wanted $1,200 for them. Too much for me to pay at that time. I now regret not buying them.

Hi, in actual fact I am certain my friend would part with this single tab if he was made a fair offer. He mainly collects RAF items.

Hi Ade, I don't know what to try offering but I could try if he's interested? The only bad thing is is that this month has already got me cash strapped due to getting an E/Front vets Docs and awards, and about 60 photos. Do you think perhaps that I can offer a bid in a month or so so I can recooperate a bit?

I don't think he is in any great rush to sell it? I will mention this conversation to him and try and get him to join the forum. But he is new to the Internet, but is a long time collector.

Hi Ade, thank you and i'm greatful for this possible opportunity to get something that's eluded me for years. I'm always interested and if he does decide to sell it, i'll try not insulting him too much by trying to make an offer he can live with ;-))
