Hello
What do you think about this KM "Donald duck" cap. It's original item? What price will be good for this item? Thanks for your help.

It's a nice original cap but the condition is poor. It would still be nice to display. As for price... these are always a challenge in any condition since KM does not have the appeal of other branches. However, I think a cap in excellant condition would be at least $650.
It was found in Gdańsk (Danzig) in Poland. The seller want for it 175 euro. It's a good price?
i wouldnt pay 175 euros for it but each to his own.
I agree. If it had the capband of the Schleswig-Holstein and was found in Gdansk...perhaps...
As I mentioned, these are not that popular so in order for it to be a good investment, it must be in excellent condition. This example is much too poor.
If you want a KM cap, wait and find a very nice one and pay a realistic price from a reliable dealer. The front support for the cap top is usually size marked and RB# marked on later caps. The top should have a size and possibly maker stamps and date.
Nice original cap but poor shape
Still it has its own history and nice to have a name inside for possible reaserch too.If you could list it to a particular ship (such as the Scharnhorst for example) it would be worth a lot more than 175.I payed Aust.$850 for a very nice early example for the Baltic which is around 400 euro.Let me know if its still available as i may make them an offer based on condition as badge and tally are worthwhile items
