A variant I am not familiar with, but looks good to me, simply missing the pin.

The solder is where the stickpin type attachment would have been affixed. The sloppiness of the eagle is possibly due to "abuse"

It may be a variant but the detail on the eagle looks very soft IMO, i would like to see other comments for future reference

Looks good to me....The crude soldering may have been from an attempted repair on the missing pin. The soft details seem to Me, anyway, to be simply from wear to the brass. I can't see any major red flags on this one. William

I think it is good as well, but the missing pin would mean a reduction
in price for me. The metal is rather thin, so it's possible that the
bent wing could be pressed back into position.........

it looks good but you should get a big reduction in price because of the damage

Agree, it looks sloppy. But inhads, it feels old and genuine. I bought it on auction for 30€, only saw the frontside. I guess I paid too much, but I'll survive... Thanks for helping me out!
