    Hello,
Nice patchs and yes they are all WWII. One of the white ones (on the right) is for navigation as it shows a sextant but not sure of the other (possibly for map drawer?).The blue one is for weapons clearer such as mine laying etc

    Thanks very much guys,

The only thing I knew for sure was that there was
a mine on the center one !

Hey, Steve...nice patches. When I was out of town this past weekend sulking over not getting that SA dagger I picked up this lot of similar Kriegsmarine patches for $40 at an auction. What do you think? I'm pretty sure they're good but, of course, not sure. I was thinking of trying to re-sell them. What do you think the lot is worth? Do you or anyone else know if any of these are keeper's that I should "cherry pick" first?

    Best,
    Adam

    What ?

    You didn't get the SA dagger ! ? ! ?

    Man.................That was a great deal !
I'd expect you would have to pay at least $600 these days for an average one ! !

I got the above three patches at auction. No one else bid, so I was able to get them for
$10 or $12. There is also not the same amount of interest usually, in Navy stuff,
compared to other branches - same is true for Navy items from any nation.
I showed them here because I was not sure if they were
    WWII period or not.

The Kriegsmarine existed after WWII and pretty sure they used the same type
of insignias in the 50's. The only difference may be in the thread material.

There are some you could let go of, but I too think you should
    hang on to them all......................

    An instant collection ! !

They all look good to me !
