Hello all, first post and thought I'd share my little collection. I have a buckle and a badge but will post them in the appropriate sections. These were all acquired in either Salzburg or Wien on two high school trips in the early 70's. I remember a flea market in Wien so with uniforms on display perhaps it was the famous Flohmarkt. I'd also appreciate feedback if any are fakes.

I apologize if these are too large but I've looked around a bit and have seen a few requests for close-ups or better pictures.

Eagle. Presumably an above the pocket patch? The fabric appears to be black.

Shoulder Boards. The color appears to be brownish red, not sure what branch but saw some similar in a picture of a flak officer's tunic.

    Cockade

Sleeve chevron. Unfortunately the moths have had a go at the backing.

    Moth damage:

    gracias.

    Hello,
Fred is the member to ask about insignia in general and breast eagles in particular...
to me, it looks like an early Panzer breast eagle, an embroidered version.
Shoulderstraps are for a Luftwaffe Nachrichten Hauptmann IMO...
cockade is Heer EM/NCO and chevron is for a Gefreite, maybe Luftwaffe also, if the wool is blue/grey...
    Hope it helps...
    Thanks

I would agree with all the descriptions. Good original items too.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks guys for the identification and positive evaluation. I would say the wool backing on the chevron definitely has blue in it, different from a slate gray.
