Default Luft M35 Flieger Feldwebel Tuchrock Service Tunic

Not sure if I ever posted this one before. An M35 Flieger Feldweble Tuchrock.

Appears to be an unissued but Eagle appears to have been replaced. Otherwise near mint condition with a nice 70 year old musty smell.

Maker is Muller Berlin. I can not make out the date on the LBA stamp but it looks to be 1936 or 1938. (I have a similar condition Flak tunic to a Gefreiter dated 1937 that I don't think I've ever posted either).

Photo quality is not up to par. But should be good enough for now. Double click to enlarge

Great tunic and visor, and good use of the macro lens too!

Perfect excluding the eagle. Prior owner maybe was thinking "flight blouse" with the machined "zig zag" stitching ? The rocks always have hand stitched eagles. May I also say...it was issued. The rank tabs & boards & tress are post issue.
    But overall...lovely !!

Thanks guys! Maybe I'll take out the Flak tuchrock next week.

The replaced eagle doesn't bother me. Of course it's nice to have one where the eagle was not removed (and replaced), but it is still an original tunic in near mint condition.

That said, I assumed it was unissued give the condition but nice to see that it was worn. Even better!!

    I agree !!
When these were issued straight from the factory...eagle was hand applied & collar tabs machined with no gulls. Often seen for sale in that unissued state

Thanks Kirk. I've had this for who knows how long. I think it was the first Tunic I purchased. Or close to it. I might have gotten my Flak first, don't remember.

Very nice tunic (and cap). Thanks for sharing. Restitched eagles are common and it's still a very collectable piece. Yes, please show us the Flak Tuchrock too.
