I think you have a nice LW tropical eagle there.
I guess it could be sewn to a variety of tunics and shirts.

HBT version, looks a fine original, I used to have two at one time, I might even still have one in a drawer or box somewhere.
They were used on Smocks and FJFD camo jackets, but without it being used it is for the HBT tunic. They fetch good money, or at least they used to, who knows where the market if these days.

I agree with Jerry that this is for a HBT tunic. Fallschirmjaeger eagle backing was camouflage. Years ago, I bought a large collection of breast eagles with four of the camo pattern smock eagles.
