Hi all - I bought this in the Dark Age of my collecting, when 50% of what I found was fake and I wasn't aware. As a result, I've assumed it's a fake for months, without a second opinion. I just found another one of these online, though, and it looked fairly similar; so I thought I'd better check just to make sure. What's the verdict?
Thanks!
Robbie
Excellent, thanks Jerry; as I say, I've thought it to be fake for so long that I'm definitely not losing anything on that revelation I'm going to try to trade back in all of my fake stuff next year with the guy I bought it from, as he swore it was all genuine.
But the front lacks the feather details found on all originals.
Cheers, Ade.

Hi Robbie, I have taken a pic for you to illustrate the point I made earlier.
Here is an original Luftwaffe breast eagle from my collection. Note the upper set of wing feathers, where they join to the eagles body: see how there is a separate thread which gives definition to each set of feathers? 6 on the left and 4 on the right.
Hope this helps?
Cheers, Ade.
