    Default Luftwaffe Buckle (J.C. Maedicke/Berlin?)

I recently acquired this steel, Luftwaffe buckle. The interior shows its original “Blaugrau” paint, while the exterior-side has been stripped of its paint, leaving a bare, steel finish. There are no maker marks or dates but, due to the style of the eagle, some details of the wreath and how the catch is mounted (Feet angles away from the wreath), I believe this was made by J.C. Maedicke, of Berlin. I would love to hear your thoughts!
