It would appear to be a sleeve badge for a unit standard bearer. Very nice looking.

I have only ever seen bevo versions of the flag bearers patch before,though I have not seen a luft version before, only Heer and KM, but it mostly looks well made. Sorry I cant say anything more useful.

I have had another look and though this is only an opinion, I think the detailing is probably not good enough for this sort of item- though some bullion items are a bit wonky in shape, they usually get the swaz's right.

hi ben , it looks nice quality construction , but have only ever seen bevo style flag bearers armbadge..but back in 91/92 i got badly stung on a heer standard bearers armbadge that was hand embroidered. the rear of this is very similar if my memory is correct...cheers Paul
