Luftwaffe field divison tunic - ask for help

Hi guys,
one more ask for help today. Here is one luftwaffe tunic nicely marked inside and in perfect condition. Is it really original one for luftwaffe unit ? Is not it heer type with added luftwaffe eagle? Any opinon is more than welcome.

Hello Mike,

It looks like a good HBT jacket, although the eagle looks like it is probably a replacement, as these were factory applied and machined on,
here is a good period applied original eagle, that is on an HBT tunic currently for sale with Military Antiques in Sweden.....

Agree with Bob's comments. Interestingly enough, some of the Luftwafffe HBT's had quasi turn-back cuffs, but the army style slit cuffs are also encountered. Perhaps even more than the turn-back style.

thank you very much help. I was warried if the stampings inside is correct one or fake one, only to looks like luftwaffe one.

The markings are typical LW ! No date and LBA stamped .
I agree , the eagle has been resewn .

noting other examples, the breast eagle is OEM. not all manufacturers had the same stitching profile. however, forums are like the curate's egg.
