Luftwaffe or heerr mantel combination with wendejacke

Maybe just maybe this is a stupid question but is it possible to make a combination of a mantel and a wendejacke so that i put a wende jacke over the mantel whad it common or not ?Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like combining ice cream and pizza. I've never seen the two combined before, but I've never really looked hehehe. If you ask me it's one or the other.

I have never seen any original photo of such a combination.

I don't think that would be correct. Now that I think about it I think I recall seeing a picture where they were combined, but either why it would be highly unusual.
