Luftwaffe Pilot's Leather Jacket

Hi guys. I saw this piece in discussion in another forum and i am surprised by the lack of replies. With the owner's permission i decided to post it here and see the opinions of our community.
It is a private purchase jacket with slight signs of wear i.e. inside the collar, waist belt etc.
Has anyone seen this kind of jacket on period photos?
I was told that it is a French made jacket for cyclists. So i assume these were used after the defeat of France from the German LW?
Any opinions much appreciated.

Hi bigkeeko the asking price is $1500 which means around 1130 euros including boards, cross, shipping.

There was many Belgian and French jacket like this one, so it is easy to find on flea markets in 2013. I know there is also new jackets.
How is the inside?Marking?

The inside looks like canvas but i am not sure. The only label/marking inside is behind the neck and only the letter ''L'' is visible.

Hi Lebus, this one is definitely not wool. It's more like canvas.
