    Greetings all,

    I have recently seen a photo of Luftwaffe Field Marshal Hugo Sperrle in a Tuchrock with scalloped pocket flaps, similar to the modern Bundesluftwaffe tunics. TR Luft tunics normally had a straight-edged pocket flap, so is this a unique case?

    Probably a private purchase example with typical scalloped pocket flaps.

    Perfectly acceptable. Though not seen often...a tailor made officer tunic.

    As said above, it's not unusual. Scalloped pockets were often found on tailor-made private-purchase tunics, and not unique to officers, either:
