Luftwaffe Uniform In Wear
Well...I am not a Model, Luftwaffe Pilot or a famous WWII reenactor. My seated mannequin is coming next week. I looked at all the parts tonight to this Luftwaffe Summer Flying Suit and thought it would fit this dummy so I took it for a test flight.
It did fit perfect except the wrist compass was just a little too small to get over the gauntlet so I did not push it. Some pictures converted to black and white as well.
Have a good weekend!

Looks awesome. When I saw the boots and glove thread I thought it would be cool to have the whole set up and there is.
LOOKIN GOOD Baron Von Rossi!!!!!
Looking good Kirk... I actually found an original parachute recently with all the regalia.. G-man
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
Well if you are now a baron you gotta get a Luft visor....and then try to squeeze into a cockpit of a Bf109.
I heard they were really small
Really nice set up
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)
Looking good, Rossi. Thought you might like a period image of the flightsuit in wear:
(The man in the photograph was my grand uncle, a Luftwaffe air gunner KIA in a raid on Malta on 19 April 1942.)
That is a great photo! Thank you for posting it. Love old pilot pictures and love that parachute as well. Have a great day!

HPL2008 thanks for sharing the photo of your Grand Uncle. I did not notice at first read he was KIA.
