I bought one of these back in 72 or 73 from Unique Imports (George Peterson's old company) for ten dollars! I wish I could get one for that now...

Old salty one bought years ago issued without insignia as yours I have read and seen period pictures although I can't find one right now of insignia worn on them especially in summer of Russia 1941-42 before the 4 pocket HBT came out. timothy
