    Default Medical HBT Tunic

Hey guys just sharing a tunic i purchased a few months ago.
It has signs of previous insignia removed and in their place are officer's ones applied. It's basically an upgrade to an officer’s status. The job is very professionally done so for me its 50/50 post war/period job.
    I hope you like it.
    Cheers

    Hello,

It looks like the original enlisted collar tabs are still under the officer tabs, I would like to see a better close uo shot of the eagle. Is it a flatwite or a thread eagle? The officer insignia looks nice. The major of reserves, medical boards are very nice and the tabs look nice too.

    Hi Fred.
The eagle looks to be made of silver thread. It was difficult to take a clear close up as the light was reflecting on the silver thread. I will try again and post some better pics.
Regarding the litzen: i can't find any threads holding the EM ones. Just the holes from the original application. It looks like they were once removed and then the officer ones were re applied.

    I like it, nice tunic
Can you take a close up of the main buttons and thread (where they are sewn into place on the front)?

I am glad you like it Leander
The main buttons are attached with ''S'' rings as seen in the picture. The only ones sewn on are the small white ones.

    Awesome Chris
I really like that the tunic has been "promoted", says something about the history of the soldier and the jacket. Tabs looks very professionally sewn on to the tunic. You find professional people today too, but looks like the thread that is used here at least is original, and shows realistic wear. I have faith that this is done during the war.
The only thing I'm slightly concerned about is whether this guy has been a NCO first ... do you see any signs of tresse around the collar?
    Best regards from Norway
