It's a fixer-upper for sure, but it is the only one I can afford. The belt and buckle are included.

Nice tunic! Shouldn't be a big deal getting it back in order again. Now find a needle and some period thread and give that little GF of yours a call and say "Oh...Honey?"

I like it. Other than the removed insignia it is in good shape
with no moth holes or staining. It wouldn't take much
to sew on all the pieces, and come up with
    a really great tunic.........!

    Steve.

Thank you for your comments guys. I have never been so excited about militaria in my life! If this trade goes through then the only things I will be missing from a nice, complete mannequin are boots and trousers.

I will see if Sara wants to do it, but I don't know, I might want some bonding time with it.

Hi Mo, I would only buy if very cheap. The lack of lining is the real downside here.

The correct belt and buckle is a bonus.

    Cheers, Ade.

I am getting it in trade, so it won't be expensive at all.

The lack of lining is a big issue, but it won't be seen if for display.
It has to be very cheap as Ade says, because of this
as well as the separate insignia.

Hope it works out for you - and show photos as you go.........!
    Regards,

    Steve.

I agree, it looks to be in a nice enough condition, but the lack of lining and the work needed to restore it would for me only be justified by a quite low price. I just got my first tunic myself, a relatively nice Pionier Waffenrock, and I hope it turns out fine for you, Mo! I already want another one

    Regards,

    Kenneth S-H.

Thanks for the comments, guys. For the tunic, insignia, belt, and buckle, I am trading a salty single decal Heer M40, which you can find here: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel...48-a-103521-2/

The chinstrap is a reproduction, but I have made the owner of the waffenrock aware of this of course. What do you think?

Honestly, the sewing work doesn't bother me, but the lack of the lining does. It would be nice if he could throw in a little something else to make up for it.

Mo, that is a really nice tunic.
    Congrats.
    To bad for the lining.
    Cheers.
