Well done. As Ben says, the key to tunics and such is to look at them a great deal.
You will have no trouble finding a nice Hohetiszeichen.
I had a wonderful army signals officer's hat that I sold a decade ago.
Geschmueckte Blusen are always rare and always pleasing.
    damit, basta.

    Ben,

Great tunic you picked up! Those piped service dress tunics are beyond compare. If I had money, any money, I would probably collect those! You got a nice one.

And about those spirits being low... I'll be over in 15 days!! Old peculiar and Spotted Hen were recommended!! See you in a fortnight!!

A great tunic with wonderful provenance. I can find no fault with restring the breast eagle to the tunic. Congratulation Ben on a great addition to your collection.

Its a really cool grouping and I haven't seen that many to a signal guy. I need to do a thread on it but I just need to find the time to do some decent shots and what not. That and figure out how to post pics on this forum But if anyone has the Soldbuch of Willi (Wilhelm) Alte let me know as I will pay damn good money for it... I have all his documents, a dog tag, his award documents, a couple of pics ect.. Matt
