Can anyone tell me what exactly this is? This is something I have had for a long time. I don't know if it is real or fake, or what branch it is. Whether it is real or fake, who exactly would be wearing this?

If it is on a black background it could be Waffen-SS rottenfuher,if dark green could be Heer obergefreiter. Or could be Panzer obergefreiter if black.
