    They look like typical Officers private purchase breeches. Nice clean example.

    How can one be certain these are German? From looking at the photos it seems as they could be Swedish tailored officer breeches as well.

    This can be one of the problems when trying to determine the origin of items like this. The lack of labels or ink stamps make a positive ID difficult. As we all know, the colour of "Feld grau" varied a lot. All we can say is that from the general cut and colour they could be German.
