Old box of Nazi insignia and medals from my Grandfather.

Article about: by Wagriff I can see nothing wrong with the EKII Spange. It is a very nice Second Pattern unmarked nickel/silver plated EKII SPange. I would be more than fine with this example in my collect

Interesting! Late war/Early production variations? Or a totally different maker altogether do you think?
I don't think a different maker. The small ovals in the 9s
as well as the way that upper leg of the 3 extends well to
the left of the lower leg all seem TO ME to be traits of the
    Ziemmer 2nd class.

I also felt that the thickness of the swastika is larger on the original posted but, I could accept that this could be due to lighting.

Hmm very interesting, I appreciate the feedback guys. I really have no clue, it's unfortunate I don't have more information on who had traded these to my Grandfather. He bought and sold so many things he probably wouldn't remember himself. Part of me wants to say a Canadian Soldier took some of these things home from a dead German in Africa, as I know thats how he acquired a MP40 at one point, but that could've been a different trade entirely. - Not to mention a fabrication of events on the soldier's part.
