original luftwaffe breast eagle?

anyone who can give me an opinion on this eagle? it looks to have been removed from a tunic?!

My first thought is I don't like it!

it was advertised as "removed from... ". and also as scarce. i thought due to the stitching on the side of the eagle that it had one been sewn to a tunic. i shall contact Pete and ask for a refund,
