A German fellow I used to get my medals from sold me this for twenty euros in 2005. As the years rolled by, I realized at least four things I bought from him were fakes (pause to growl). Now I submit this to you for your opinion. Real deal or bum deal?

Rest easy LRDJ, these are not faked as far as I know....... you have a good original Marksmanship Lanyard in the basic grade - with a 1936-39 pattern shield badge.

    Cheers, Dan

Thanks! No problem about the spelling of my name. Thanks to my parents, it took me a few years to learn it myself. Father: from Ohio. Mother: from Yugoslavia.

Good Crom, did I type, "laynard"? I should be horse-whipped. And here you are apologizing about spelling my name incorrectly!

IMHO, original with shield reapplied. The pins for the shield should be beneath the field grey cloth.
    Nice though!
