Hi, Having recently discovered some items my Uncle brought back from his service, I am seeking information about them. Here is a picture of a patch that was among his things. Anything you can tell me about it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

WWII german Navy Patch just google you will find it. Gary

It's from the series of combined specialty- and rating badges worn by Junior Petty Officers. This one, specifically, identifies an Obermaschinenmaat.
(A Maschinenmaat wore the same anchor-and-cogwheel device without the chevron below.)
