Pioneer Waffenrock

A new addition to my tunics. Pioneer Oberleutnant, nice bright bullion and a nice touch on the right epaullette which has a screw post fitting (the left one is sewn down)to allow the aiguillette to be fitted easier.
Unfortunately no labels or markings inside.

Very nice! I have always liked those kind of uniforms, I had quiet a few in my first collection, but no officers.

Started back; less then a year ago.
Belgian especialy colonial episode,also cald Weermacht in Flemish.
German all periods, but for the III Reich only denazified and dug-up itmes.
And I like all nations before 1900.
Here is a pre 1908 Belgian Congo official sword used by mostly all military and civil branches during ceremonies.

Stuka, some of my friends often ask why I waste my money on old militaria stuff! I think you are like me; we are collectors, we take an interest in some historical period and like to see and hold the artifacts from then...it doesn't matter what it is we collect, that is unimportant.
