Pioniere collar tabs, genuine?

Is the back ground material black ? If so, No they are not good.

This is a set of tunic removed Pioneer offizer tabs I have.
I think Steve was referring to yours needing the green backing like on these ....

Isn't green the colour of infantry tabs, while black is for engineering? At least that's what I read, I may be wrong.

I think the green that Dan is referring to is the background the tabs are embroidered on, not the black of the Waffenfarbe within the tabs which is indeed for engineers, Cheers paul
