Default Possible Luftwaffe Badge? from Paris!

    Guys,

I have had this a while and never been able to find out what it is.

Its about an inch long diving eagle with a 2 on its breast.

I thought perhaps a Stuka or dive Bomber Sqn semi official type of badge.

On the reverse it is typical of the German pin construction but is made in Paris by a firm called Drago this maker is on both the badge and the pin assembly (see photos).

It is well made and I have had it a while, I know this means nothing in the scheme of manouver but look forward to any ideas from the forum.

    Thanks

    Jock

If every thing about it says French, could it be a coat pin from service in a former Free French unit.
Regimental association badge could differ from the regular French Air Force Badge, something like ground attack 2nd fighter group?

Could it be a french para regiment?

I will have to research it, I know nothing about French stuff, just thought it had a particular German look to it and if any Luftwaffe experts could eliminate it. If it is not German then I am inclined to put it at the bottom of the things to do list.

    Regards
