I am working on a display idea for the decorations. Which postwar tunic would pass as WWII ? The cheaper the better :-)

Swedish, at a glance and are found fairly cheaply and I assume you mean for the Heer.

Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
I would buy a replica rather than a postwar tunic. But Jerry is right. All depends on your budget.
Cheers, Ade.
Had good advice? Saved money? Why not become a Gold Club Member, just hit the green "Join WRF Club" tab at the top of the page and help support the forum!
I would opt for a repro. too.
But the Swedish M/39 and M39-58 is as close as it gets to a German WWII uniform.
Alas the price of an original M/39 has risen dramatically because people are buying them to make cheap German re-enactor uniforms
Ok then. How are the ebay replicas from China ?
Thanks for help.
Well to be honest I don't know.
But I managed to find a cheap M/39-58 uniform here: www.militarlagret.se
195 SEK = about 28 USD
The only difference between a M/39 and a M/39-58 is the two back pockets.
They are very easy to remove, since they are applied post war to all the remaining M/39 uniforms.
I don't know what a repro uniform cost, but the M/39 might be the cheaper alternative.
Thanks and i will try to find some m39s.
Picked up brand new m39 with rear pockets - made in 1944 for $25 shipped !
Here is a bit of an update and change of course :-)
Anybody from Sweden ? m39 tunic button / collar tabs needed !
