Default RAD - Enlisted Man's Rig

Greatcoat arrived with Spaten today. Son was home from school so he helped me get some shots. I was "fat guy in a little coat" as the coat is about a 42 Medium. Missing an arm unit patch but have seen wartime pics with no insignia on sleeve. Overall pretty happy with the out come of the uniform assembling adventure. Heading to pick up a mannequin that is vintage tonight found on craigslist for the war room. Hoping it fits. We will call him "GWAR" in honor of our RAD loving collecting brother. Post some pictures soon when I get it set up in his new home.

Very very nice Kirk! Been on a bit of a mission lately I see!

You know, they would have made your son shave his beard if he was really in the RAD!

Oh yeah. For sure. Either model had a beard or you would be watching me rip the seams out of the great coat trying to jam my frame into it. Chose the unshaven boy instead!

Good call. Would not have been a good outcome if you ripped it!

Hopefully you name the next one after me. Felt a little slighted on this one but do admit GWAR is a cooler name. LoL

Cap is so small it kept falling off and would not fit on his noggin. After a few minutes he was done when it kept falling off

    He is a good son.

He is ready for college and has always taken an interest in the hobby. Someday he can have it. Thanks Philly Dog!
