Sorry, no luck on that number, but the maker would have been in Westfalia.
Cheers, Ade.

Cheers Ade, got that from your brilliant research
Thanks for the reply and information Ade!
Best regards!
I have a holster which is die stamped RBNr over 0550/0227. It has a Waffenampt WaA640 which could refer to A. Doppert, Kitzingen or Max Muller, Nurnberg. I believe the 0550 refers to the Koln-Weisbaden district under the RBNr numbering system. I don't think it is East German because none of the cities mentioned were in East Germany. Does anyone have any ideas on any of the above info? Thanks very much.
Hi, and welcome to the forum!
You are correct. The maker was located in the Koln area. Sadly I cannot add a name to the maker.
Cheers, Ade.

Thanks! I believe the maker to be A. Doppert Treibriemenfabrik, Kitzingen. This is based on the WaA640 waffenampt stamped on the holster. This waffenampt is associated with the above maker after 1942. Prior to 1942 the WaA640 waffenampt was associated with Max Muller, Nernberg. I think A. Doppert Treibriemenfabrik is correct because Kitzinger is closer to the Koln-Weisbaden area. Just my thoughts on the subject.
